The combination of two residential units in what was formerly a small manufacturing building on Fifth Avenue entailed gutting and reconfiguring the space into forward public space and rear private space. The extreme proportions of the building yielded an unusual collection of spaces organized about a central axis. Cabinetry "totems" act as space dividers while incorporating custom cherry and pear veneer cabinetry units.
